All of the promises and representations made by La Promenade are contained in these terms and conditions. La Promenade is not bound by any previous or implied promises or representations.

La Promenade will use its reasonable efforts to meet all promises and representations made by us in these terms and conditions, but we will not be liable to you to the extent that it would be unreasonable in our opinion to meet any promise or representation.

Use of the Website

Using the website includes browsing through the website, viewing our goods, ordering goods and downloading or uploading any data to or from the website.

La Promenade may alter these terms and conditions from time to time – you should regularly check this page, as any changes are binding on you. Despite this, we do not undertake to keep this website updated. We are not liable to you or anyone else if errors occur in the information on this website or if that information is not up-to-date.

Your Promises and Representations to Us

As a condition of using the website your promise to La Promenade is that:

  •          you will not hold La Promenade, its employees or agents liable for any loss or expense of any kind that you incur from using the website, including interference with or damage to your computer systems in connection with use of this website or a linked website, compensation for postage costs, your time, cancellation or rejection of orders, the cost of goods ordered or where items do not meet your expectations (except to the extent that you are protected by the Australian Consumer Law). La Promenade, its employees or agents will never be liable for any loss or damage that you have contributed to or caused; and
  •          you will not use, download or distribute any intellectual property found on the website for any purpose except those permitted by La Promenade. This includes all images, descriptions, logos, website design features, trademarks or other intellectual property that belongs to La Promenade or any other person.

Privacy and How We Deal With Your Information

La Promenade takes your privacy very seriously. We do not keep your financial information. Some limited personal information, such as your name, date of birth, address and email address, may be kept and used by La Promenade, but only for La Promenade’s internal purposes. Your personal information will not be sold or traded to unrelated parties of our business.

Placing an Order

Orders must be placed via the website. If for any reason you are unable to place an order via the website you can contact La Promenade at

La Promenade may reject any order made without liability to you. If your order is rejected any amounts received by La Promenade for your order will be refunded to you within a reasonable time.

Once an order is received no cancellations can be made. You must check before submitting your order that it is correct.

What if an order cannot be filled?

If for any reason an order cannot be filled (for example, due to a lack of stock) La Promenade will contact you as soon as possible to vary your order, arrange for a store credit or to source further goods for you.

Price and Payment

All prices are expressed in Australian dollars, and are inclusive of all fees, taxes and charges unless otherwise stated.

Payments must be made via the methods available on the website. Unfortunately, La Promenade cannot accept cash or cheques.

Gift Cards

La Promenade gift cards entitle the bearer to purchase goods up to the value of the gift card.

Where a purchaser buys goods with a gift card any unused value in the gift card can be reused as store credit. Gift cards may not be refunded for cash.

Gift cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.


La Promenade endeavours to dispatch your goods within 24 hours of receipt of payment. During high volume periods (for example, Christmas) you may experience delays in the processing of your order.

La Promenade uses a range of carriers, to deliver your purchases to you. Once your goods have been dispatched La Promenade is not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by such delays. La Promenade will provide you with tracking details for all packages sent.

If you do experience an unreasonable delay in the delivery of your goods, you should contact the carrier of your goods with the tracking information provided. If you continue to experience difficulty in locating your goods you may contact La Promenade at

Returns Policy

La Promenade does not offer returns due to mistake, change of mind, delay in receiving your items or if you find the same goods cheaper elsewhere. La Promenade does accept returns in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

Opening Packaging

Except as required by law, La Promenade will not accept returns of goods once the original packaging has been opened for hygiene reasons. Before opening your goods please take the time to inspect your goods within the packaging.

La Promenade uses standard European sizing for all our products – before opening the goods’ packaging we recommend you confirm your sizing using the sizing charts provided. The sizing charts will give you a good indication of what size is best for you. However, please note that these charts are intended to be a general guide only and that the actual fit of any goods will differ between individuals.  


If, without opening the original packaging, you detect a possible fault with your goods, you should contact La Promenade as soon as possible  within 7 days of deliver of the goods to your nominated address.

Delivery is taken to occur when the carrier of your goods has made its first delivery of the goods to your nominated address.

To report a fault, please contact La Promenade at the following email address: using the words  “Return Request” as the  subject of your email.

La Promenade will respond to your request within 10 business days. La Promenade will supply you with a return authorisation code, return request form and a nominated address to which the goods may be returned. No goods will be accepted unless the customer returning the goods provides the authorisation code issued to them, together with a completed return request form.

Please be aware that under the ACL customers are responsible for paying all costs of return shipping.

Once La Promenade has received your returned goods we will examine them for faults.  If we discover a fault we may do any of the following:

1                     Major Faults*

If La Promenade agrees that your goods have a fault that is a ‘major problem’ we will give you the option of:

  1.        A refund of the purchase price
  2.        A replacement of the goods
  3.        Returning the goods to you and paying you any difference in value from the purchase price.

2                     Minor Faults*

If your goods have a fault that is a ‘minor problem’ La Promenade will provide you with a replacement for the goods.

3                     No Fault

If we reasonably believe your goods are not faulty, or that the fault has been caused by misuse that has occurred after the goods left our custody then we retain full discretion as to how your return request is resolved.

Differences in Colour

When viewing goods online it is important to remember that differences between monitors (for example brightness, contrast, screen resolution and age) can affect the appearance of goods.

Whilst La Promenade will accept returns of goods that are clearly the wrong colour, (for example where a person orders a red item and receives a blue item) we will generally not accept returns of goods that differ in appearance due to unavoidable differences between an item’s description and your monitor’s settings.


We will do our very best to ensure you love your purchase, however we understand that at times things go wrong.
